Our\u00a0Foundations course gives you a\u00a0base of knowledge in a variety of media, so you can discover more about yourself and what you enjoy doing. Our\u00a0comprehensive\u00a0curriculum is\u00a0designed to help each student with their own personal expression while also learning critical insights and techniques. We know this encourages artists because we are artists. We must be doing something right. We have over 200 students each year, and many adult\u00a0students have been with us for\u00a07 years or more.<\/p>

      [su_row][su_column size=\"3\/4\"]Foundations - <\/strong>\u00a0for new artists, as well as those who have been working on their talents for years. Learn how to draw more accurately, learn different techniques for drawing and painting, and learn how to mix colors. We teach with our 3-part\u00a0approach, which includes\u00a0Insights<\/em>,\u00a0Techniques<\/em>, and lots of freedom for\u00a0Self-expression<\/em>. This course has two years of curriculum\u00a0that students\u00a0can begin at any time in the cycle. Artists work on a variety of\u00a0projects focusing on the core concepts that every artist needs.<\/p>

      We explore many of the tools and mediums\u00a0each Fall. The Winter sees more of our color journal work, a few lessons on drawing specific things more accurately, and some fun\u00a0projects with more room for self-expression take up much of the Spring. The lessons\u00a0are\u00a0based on higher education art school training,\u00a0but we made them\u00a0way easier to understand. We focus on\u00a0each individual's goals and encouraging artists.<\/p>
